Each year plants are carefully harvested to preserve for future harvesting. Sustainably grown and ethically harvested is our priority. No chemicals or pesticides are used in the growing process. Your sage bundles will come 100% natural to you – from the fields to your home with some sunny California love. White Sage is a true gift from Mother Earth for its healing and cleansing properties.

So what is White Sage?

Scientific Name: Salvia Apiana (White sage, bee sage, or sacred sage) is an evergreen perennial shrub that is native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico, found mainly in the coastal sage scrub habitat of Southern California and Baja California, on the western edges of the Mojave and Sonoran deserts.

Burning instruction:

Light the bundle from the top for about 10-15 seconds then gently blow it out. You may use a feather to distribute the smoke. You may also crush the leaves and place them on a burning charcoal tablet. Please note: sage bundles may need to be lit several times during the ceremonial process due to being a natural herb from Mother Earth.
Please be cautious and burn safely – you can use abalone shell or any dish to place the smudge stick. Keep window slightly open for air flow.
Keep out of reach of children, pets & flammable material.

Rolling the bundles by hand.
California sun dried until the moisture has been released but making sure essential oils of plants are present in each bundle.
Tying the bundle with a string to secure it when burning.
